May 1 COVID-19 Update: Dining Rooms & Your Safety

As we begin to reopen dining rooms in Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas, your safety continues to be our priority. Thank you for your patience and cooperation as we encourage social distancing and implement incremental measure to increase sanitation within our stores and provide a safe environment for everyone. We’ll get through this together! See below for a list of the safety precautions and measures that we are taking to serve you:

  • Social Distancing: Maintaining a safe distance for everyone in the restaurant by limiting capacity according to the state by state reopening guidelines.
  • Team Member Health: Monitoring the health of all team members, including temperature checks.
  • Protective Gear: Wearing masks and gloves at all times.
  • Frequent & Thorough Handwashing: Following strict sanitization protocols & guidelines as suggested by the CDC and the local health departments.
  • Frequent Cleaning: Disinfecting all surfaces & high-touch areas at an increased frequency.
  • Tamper Proof Seals: Sealing all delivery orders with tamper-proof stickers.
  • Disponible All The Time: Using disposable plates, cutlery kits & packaged condiments.

April 20 COVID-19 Update: Curbside Pick Up Now Available

Starting today, enjoy curbside pick-up when ordering online via the Pollo Campero APP (APP StoreGoogle Play). After completing your order, select “curbside pick-up”. Once you’ve arrived at our restaurant, park in the designated “curbside pick-up” area and dial the phone number on the sign to let us know you’ve arrived. Your food will be delivered quickly and conveniently to your car. Our curbside pick-up program is another way to deliver our flavorful meal while reducing person-to-person interaction to keep you and your family safe.

In support and solidarity of the hard work of all first responders during these difficult times, we are offering free individual meals to those who visit any of our participating locations in uniform. March 16 COVID-19 Update: Dining Restaurant Closures

At Pollo Campero, we are committed to the well-being of our communities, guests and team members while also complying with the CDC and local government guidance. To ensure this well-being, effective on March 17, all U.S. Pollo Campero locations will be closing dining rooms and transitioning to take-out, drive thru, and delivery options only for the next seven days, or until further notice, as the situation is evolving rapidly.

March 15 COVID-19 Update: Our Restaurants in Los Angeles

Our number one priority is the well-being of our guests and team members. We are temporarily closing our dining room seating in all our southern California locations to limit person to person interactions in compliance to public guidelines.

Our restaurants will continue to offer service for take-out and drive-thru (where available). Additionally, we want to remind guests they can get their food delivered by ordering online through Campero.com, our mobile APP or by calling 1-833-CAMPERO. During these difficult times delivery is FREE--we’re covering all delivery fees.

March 14 COVID-19 Update: A Letter from Our Managing Director

To all our special Guests:

As news and information regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to evolve, our hearts go out to all who have been impacted.

We believe our guests, team members and the communities we serve are part of our family, which means your well-being is our top priority. As a result, during the last weeks we have been working very hard to ensure we continue to provide a safe environment by:

  • Reinforcing existing strict sanitation and health protocols with our team members.
  • Implementing additional layers to cleaning and safety measures such as increasing the frequency of hand washing and disinfecting all high-touch areas utilizing specialty chemicals.
  • Providing extra care for condiments, utensils and other disposable items and making them available for everyone upon request.
  • Caring for our teams by providing health guidelines for them and their families.  Team members who don’t feel well will stay home caring for their health.
  • Continuing to monitor information provided by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), local public health officials and the World Health Organization and adjusting as needed.

The situation we are currently living through is evolving quickly and you may continue to see changes to our regular operations.  Please visit our website for updated information.
