Pollo Campero is coming to Oklahoma!

Oklahoma City, OK, August 21st, 2018 – Pollo Campero, the fast-casual restaurant brand specializing in flavorful chicken and a wholesome menu focused on individual and family meals, celebrates the opening of its very first location in Oklahoma City, OK. The new restaurant, owned by Campero of Oklahoma, LLC, will open its doors on August 21st at 10:00 AM. This is the first location in the State of Oklahoma.

The principle owners behind the CityBites Group, which has been operating restaurants in Oklahoma since 1986, partnered with Campero of Oklahoma, LLC to bring the unique tastes of Pollo Campero to Oklahomans. “We heard about Pollo Campero for the first time from our own employees. Some of them used to drive to Houston to eat at Pollo Campero, and they used to come back here with a lot of extra dishes for their friends and family,” says Mike Woolf, manager of Campero of Oklahoma, LLC. Mr. Woolf says he understood the passion for the brand from the moment he tried Pollo Campero for the first time. “We are bringing to Oklahoma the highest quality, best fried chicken brand in America. Nothing compares to the food that Pollo Campero serves to its clients all over the country and overseas,” the general manager says. Mike Woolf and his team invested time to visit several Pollo Campero restaurants across the country. “We wanted a full immersion in the Pollo Campero brand to truly understand how to bring the best-in-class food to Oklahoma City with the same flavor consumers have grown to expect.”

The Oklahoma City Pollo Campero restaurant is a 2,400 square feet space with 70 seats plus a drive-thru line and catering service available for corporate events and / or private parties. The new endeavor is creating 60+ full-time and part-time jobs. “I am excited for the opportunity bringing Pollo Campero to Oklahoma City provides for consumers and employees alike,” says Mike Woolf.

A Menu Full of Flavor

Pollo Campero’s menu will feature its signature recipes: Campero® Fried and Grilled in a variety of individual and family meal formats. Customers will also be able to enjoy Campero’s new chicken sandwiches in Extra Crunchy and Grilled varieties—both options feature Campero’s unique seasonings and marinade as well as the brand’s new signature sauce. For those looking for lighter meals packed with flavor, the menu includes entrée salads with Pollo Campero’s unique Extra Crunchy and Grilled chicken recipes. “The Pollo Campero family is extremely excited about sharing our wholesome and flavorful meals with Oklahoma.
