Global Chicken Chain Arrives in Charlotte, Set to Delight Taste Buds with Unique Latin Flavors

Pollo Campero Opens First Restaurant in North Carolina

DALLAS, April 14, 2016Pollo Campero, home of Authentic Latin Chicken, today announced the opening of its first restaurant in North Carolina. The restaurant, located at 5727 North Sharon Amity in Charlotte, NC 28215, is scheduled to open April 26, 2016 and is set to delight customers with its unique Latin flavors, vibrant restaurant design and impeccable service.

The new Charlotte Pollo Campero is not only the first Pollo Campero in North Carolina, but also the first Campero restaurant for franchisee Gilmer Alfaro. Alfaro, who owns seven other Latin restaurants in the Charlotte area, is no stranger to Pollo Campero, however.

“Being from El Salvador, I understand the love Central Americans have for Pollo Campero,” said Alfaro, franchisee and owner of Pollo Campero Charlotte. “When it comes to flavor, there is nothing else out there like it. I am thrilled to be able to bring that unique Campero flavor to families here in Charlotte.”

Pollo Campero Charlotte will feature the restaurant chain’s new global brand image and world-famous Latin menu. At the heart of that menu: Pollo Campero’s traditional fried and Citrus Peruvian grilled chicken. Both are made with fresh, never frozen, hormone-free chicken and prepared with Campero’s proprietary blend of Latin herbs and spices. Pollo Campero also offers a wide array of Latin side dishes. From its Campero rice and beans, to Latin favorites, such as empanadas, plantains and yucca fries, Pollo Campero’s promise to stay true to its Central American roots can be found in each and every bite.

The Charlotte Pollo Campero is open for service from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday.
